La Inteligencia Ambiental (AmI en Ingl\u00e9s) propone la creaci\u00f3n de entornos inteligentes que se adapten a las necesidades, gustos e intereses de la gente que vive en ellos, ayudando a llevar a cabo sus tareas diarias mediante la integraci\u00f3n de la inform\u00e1tica en el entorno de la persona, de forma que los ordenadores no se perciban como objetos diferenciados. En esta l\u00ednea se investiga y desarrollan m\u00e9todos de Ingenier\u00eda de Software para dotar de disciplina y rigor al desarrollo de sistemas AmI. El objetivo general de la l\u00ednea consiste en aplicar los principios y t\u00e9cnicas del Desarrollo Dirigido por Modelos para desarrollar este tipo de sistemas mejorando su calidad, productividad y mantenibilidad. Todas estas caracter\u00edsticas deseables se pueden conseguir desarrollando Lenguajes Espec\u00edficos de Dominio (DSL), transformaciones Modelo a Modelo y Modelo a Texto, aplicando L\u00edneas de Producto Software a la producci\u00f3n de este tipo de sistemas (para mejorar la reusabilidad y productividad en dominios acotados) y aplicar los principios de Computaci\u00f3n Aut\u00f3noma para conseguir implementar sistemas autoconfigurables y din\u00e1micos.<\/p>\n
